Book Launch: Attune by E. Moir

Join us for an evening of karaoke, crafts and snacks to celebrate the debut of artist book Attune, by e. moir. Attune is a collection of illustrated, painted and digital works inspired by a six month video residency at the Centre for Art Tapes in 2017-2018. Copies will be for sale at the event – The first 5 copies sold come with a handmade pin.

Costumes and glamorous disguises encouraged!

About E. Moir:

e.moir is an interdisciplinary artist and arts facilitator from Halifax, NS and will be an artist in residence and instructor at the Cape Breton Centre for Craft and Design this fall.

Access Notes:

Art Bar is ground level and accessible by wheelchair. There is no button to press on the entrance door for it to open automatically, however volunteer greeters will be stationed at the door for duration of the event to offer assistance. Gender neutral toilets are available in the venue. There will be light snacks and water available for free at the bar, as well as beer and cocktails for sale.

We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave the space, for discrimination or violent acts, which include but are not limited to: racism, white supremacy, sexism, heterosexism, cissexism/transmisogyny, tokenism, ableism, ageism, sizeism, sexualized and all acts of violence and harassment.
